On Saturday, Sept. 2, we flew in to Portland, OR. It was a short flight and Brie did alright, but certainly wanted to be down on the ground crawling around and not held in a seat. When we got off the plane I was glad we had not tried to make the flight to Germany or England with her.
Glenn, Renee, Ariana, Mina and Siena picked us up at the airport and took us directly to the zoo. It was a really fun time to walk around with them and see all of the animals. Here are the girls visiting the penguinos.

Brie took a liking to her Oregon Buchanan cousins very quickly. They were so fun to play with. This is her cracking up as Ariana played a tickling game with her.

It looks like you had a great time with your family in Oregon. How convenient to have family in such a beautiful place!
Does this mean that we'll have to start saving giraffes for Scott now instead of penguins?
