Happy List

I was tagged. This is my list of things that made me happy today (Sunday).

1. When Ava woke up at her unreasonably early hour (6:30 am) Scott was there to get her out of bed and take care of her while I kept sleeping.

2. We were all fed, dressed (girls looking adorable) and at church on time at 9:00 am.

3. Brie went into nursery without even looking back. She was so happy to be there with her friends.

4. Holding my sweet and beautiful baby Ava as she slept for part of Sunday School.

5. Talking outside of the church building afterward. It feels so nice to be in such a great ward and feel like we have made wonderful friends.

6. Absolutely gorgeous weather! About 75 degrees and sunny and beautiful. And popcorn popping on all the trees.

7. Watching Brie dance around the kitchen floor in one of her crazy outfits that she put together while she had me sing the music for her dance.

8. The girls going to sleep for a long Sunday afternoon nap. That meant that Scott and I also got to take a long Sunday afternoon nap. Mmmmmm.

9. A walk around our neighborhood on such a pretty day. We were checking out everyone's landscaping to get ideas.

10. A good dinner of sweet potatoes, chicken and green beans.

11. Sitting on the swing on our back deck in the evening with Brielle. We looked out on all the trees that Scott planted Saturday and read books while Scott cleaned up the kitchen.

12. Scott cleaning up the kitchen. What a good man.

13. Reading The Book of Mormon in bed by my little lamp once everyone else was asleep.

What a good day!
