Ava recently had her end of the year Preschool Program. This year the theme was a beach theme so she got to wear her swim suit cover up and flip flops. She sang her songs, did all the little actions, spoke her speaking part perfectly and occasionally even cracked a smile. It's not her favorite thing to be up in front of people, but she was really excited about this. She literally practiced her part five times a day for three weeks just to be ready. She was happy to see us right on the front row watching her. She did great!
Of course, SHE had to be the one to stand by the boy. She does not talk to boys, look at boys or even notice their existence. She looks very wary of this kid next to her doesn't she? Don't worry, she warmed up.
Delivering her well practiced speaking part about a whale.Riding the stick horses that Ms. Chris makes for them each year with socks. She really is the best!
"Along came Mr. Crocodile, quiet as can be and SNAPPED that monkey out of the tree."
A Jellyfish "J".
The beach beauty.

Ms. Chris does an amazing job with these shows. She does it all herself and makes THE CUTEST treats at the end. So many cute ideas and decorated adorably.

Oh, how we love Ms. Chris. Ava is already so sad to think of leaving her to go to kindergarten. Zachary can't wait for next year to be with her.
And, if you know this kid at all, you'll know that this was the highlight of the program for him. He's a happy kid if he has a treat in his hand. (The oreos were "oysters" that she opened slightly and put a little edible blue pearl in.)
Me and my girly. I love her so much.
