Great Strides
We did the Great Strides walk for Cystic Fibrosis on Saturday. It was one of our very few gorgeous, sunny days. Perfect day for a walk around downtown. We met up with our friends, Mark and Tricia, and joined their team. They walk each year for Tricia's cousin who has CF. We think of our nephew Connor on our walk and with our donation.

Then we walked. Last year it seemed to just be a little, short stroll so I didn't prepare us for the 3 mile walk that this was, but everyone seemed to enjoy it. They girls were strolled in their giant chariot while eating Creamsicles and Zachary slept in the front pack the whole way. They have it pretty good.

We made it to the finish!
And then the after party. Brielle of course pulled out her trusty dance moves and whooed the crowd. She was lovin that band. I was just pleased that she kept her dress down through most of it this time.
Zachary kicked around in the grass.
And Scott taught Ava how to show everyone her knew frog pencil cap. She went to everyone flipping them the "froggy".

Wow! That looks like a really fun walk. And such a good cause. Yes, three miles sounds a little long, with the kids along for the ride, eh? But it looks like you all had a good time. That close-up of Zachary is precious!
