Our summer has been filled with fun. It's been lazy and it's been crazy. Here are some of the highlights in pictures:
Popsicles at the park. Our favorite park that we frequent regularly.
Hiking. To where? Donut Falls, of course. First a stop off at a new waterfall, Hidden Falls.
A sad, whining, crying hiker named Zachary.
He toughed up though and got happy to show off his "strong muscles".Liberty Park's "Seven Canyons" with cousins, Aiden, Annie and Norah. I love this place.
Posers.
Reading bedtime stories with grandma when she came to visit.
A fun filled day with cousins, Connor, Abby, Andrew and Hannah, at our house - swimming, jumping, riding bikes, obstacle course, otter pops, etc.
Hot afternoons spent inside with the girls (all the girls) watching a Barbie movie.
Friends, Natalie and Katie, spending the day with us. More swimming, jumping, swinging and otter pops.
Afternoon of bowling with our friends, the Thorntons, and then dinner at our house. Note: We waited 1 1/2 hours to even get a lane. By the time we were bowling the kids were DONE and bored out of their minds. Notice them reading. This is actually when we had a lane and really were bowling. Cracks me up.
Playgroup hike around Silver Lake. Love these little friends.
Baking a delicious S'mores dessert with Auntie Krista.
Farmer's Market at Gardner Village on a cloudy Saturday morning. Brie and Ava picked their outfits to be exactly opposite with matching pink with white polka dots.
Sad and funny faces.
Happy again.Kickin' back on the porch with corn on the cob and Mint Limeade.
Partay!! Hands down, the best primary class party we will ever see. Amazing. Brie's primary teachers invited the whole class and their families to a backyard BBQ. They cooked us all lunch and then set the kids out on the lawn with grocery sacks. When they were ready they started shooting a sling shot FULL of candy and toys into the air. Over and over again. Probably twenty times. Then they were throwing out flip flops, hula hoops, beach toys, bubbles, balls and anything else you can think of. The kids gathered it all up and one boy yelled out, "It's a MIRACLE!" It was better than Christmas. We came home with sack loads over flowing with candy.
The party kept going with snow cones . . .
playing in the yard . . .
water balloons they had filled and ready . . .
and water gun shooters to continue the water fight.
Baseball in the front yard with daddy.
The zoo.
Anxiously awaiting the bird show.
Big twisty ice cream cones on a hot day at the zoo.
