Our stake was invited to be in the Days of '47 Youth Parade, celebrating Pioneer Day. It didn't take much work on my end - just announce it in Primary, send home flyers and collect release forms. Someone, somewhere in the stake made a very cute float and we (primary kids) showed up on Saturday morning to walk behind it in the parade. The kids loved it! One of mine in particular was really in her element - making sure she stayed right up front, waving and smiling to her adoring fans!The float was made to look like "The Little Blue Engine That Could". They actually won first place and now our stake float gets to be in the big Days of '47 parade. So cool.

That is a beautiful float! And the kids look so cute as does their mother. Congratulations!!
