Ava's Sixth Birthday

Miss Ava Potata turned six years old! I just can't believe it. She is the funnest girl to have around. She is a teaser! She loves to play, but only wants to play at home with her siblings. She has friends calling her all the time for play dates that she usually turns down even after I try to talk her into it. Ava is hands down the best helper around. If anything is lost, we send her out looking and she can find it (sometimes because she is the one who hid it, just to tease). If I ask her to run and grab this or go help Kate with that, she is on it. She is so, so cute. We love her dearly and we're so glad that she had such a fun birthday!

Ava woke up on her birthday and got to have a birthday pancake before getting ready for school. She had her outfit all picked out - her "Happy Birthday to Me!" shirt. She got to take birthday pop tarts to share with her kindergarten class too.

After school, Ava got to choose a birthday lunch for her, Zachary and Kate - mac n' cheese and blueberries.

She waited and waited for the full day kids to get out of school so that we could start her birthday party at Jungle Jim's Playland.  The time came and all of her friends came. We pretty much had the place to ourselves and the kids got to run from ride to ride. They were so happy. It was awesome to see Ava in the middle of her friends having such a fun time.

We broke up the playing to have all the kids come for singing, presents and cake and ice cream.

 At home that evening the presents continued. Whew. What a day! Ava got her very own camera and some spy walkie talkies.
