We completed swimming lessons again this summer. Look who was brave enough to enter the water with a teacher she didn't know and even boys in her class (gasp!). Ava refused to do swimming lessons last year, but was a pro this year. We were at a smaller pool and there were two teachers for her small class of about 8 four year olds. She loved it every day and became quite confident in the water.
I really, really, want Brielle swimming. She is almost there. She learned a lot this year, but needs more opportunities for practice so she can really get it. Good thing she'll get some good swim time at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Like Ava, she also loved swim lessons and counted down the minutes each morning until it was her turn to get in.
