Zachary Becomes a Soccer Star

Zachary took on soccer with his other 4 year old buddies, "Big Sam" (Winn) and "Little Sam" (Toa, who by they way is polynesian and will most likely be the biggest of them all). He even got a soccer trophy at the end of all the games, which of course makes him an actual soccer star. He does sleep with his trophy from time to time. Very proud boy.

Team cheer.
Some pre-game practice.
And here are some photos of the star in action in a real game. So impressive, right?
Mid-game he stops to talk "baby talk" to this little boy just a bit younger than him, asking him very sweetly and politely to give him the ball. "Come on, little buddy. Can I have the ball, please?"
We loved watching this guy play on his first team with his friends. Every game was pure comedy. We laughed through most of watching these little 4 year olds try to stay focused on a game. They were pretending to be fighting ninjas, they were running the ball the wrong way and then, there was the time that Zachary and Big Same were slow dancing together on the field during the game. Poor coach. Zachary loved being a real soccer player. So, I'd say it was fun for all.
